A while back before it got too hot here in the Nevada desert (it was 120 degrees on my patio the other day – UGH), my husband John and I went with some friends in a Jeep adventure on an off roading trail called The Burrow Wash Trail just outside of Boulder City, down to the Colorado river shore. It was a pretty rough and rocky trail but had some amazing views, and at the end we were rewarded with this super pretty spot.
I took a bunch of photos that day, some landscape photos and some close-up detailed photos that can be used for textures. I created this awesome set that is now available in my Etsy Shop at ShawnnaDesigns.
This set includes 20 of my favorite photos I took of close-up shots of the colorful rocks with water ripples over them. Occasionally a boat would go by that would cause mini waves to come ashore which made for some super cool photos. There are shots of flowers, reeds, bird prints freshly made in the sand, ducks, waves and a variety of others. These are super high-resolution images at 400 DPI in JPG Format in a 12” x 12” Digital Photo Texture Paper size. Check out some better detailed photos in my Etsy Shop.

After we played around in the water, and ate lunch, it was back on the trail to head the hour and half ride back to Boulder City. Fascinating trip.

I hope you enjoyed my pictures, and check out my super cool photo texture set I put up in my Etsy Shop.
Thanks for stopping by!
